Meet The Owner

Captain Jamie Glasner

Captain Jamie Glasner is a born-and-raised Cocoa Beach native who has spent his entire life on the waters of Florida’s Space Coast. Growing up fishing the Banana River, he developed a deep knowledge of the local ecosystem — learning the feeding patterns and migration of Redfish, Snook, and Trout long before he ever held a captain’s license.

That passion turned into a career early. Jamie earned his USCG captain’s license at just 18 years old and launched his first charter operation in 2007. Since then, he’s spent nearly two decades exploring every stretch of the Banana River, Indian River, and Mosquito Lagoon, building an intimate understanding of the wildlife and waterways that make this region one of Florida’s most unique natural treasures.

Today, Jamie operates several ventures across the Space Coast, including Fin & Fly Fishing Charters and bioluminescence boat tours — all rooted in the same mission: connecting people with the incredible natural world right outside Cocoa Beach’s back door.

While Jamie’s experienced team of local captains leads each tour, his knowledge, standards, and love for these waters shape every trip we run.

Reviews From the Water

Our Commitment to Conservation

The Space Coast is one of Florida’s most ecologically rich coastlines, and we take that seriously. The Indian River Lagoon is home to one of the largest populations of manatees in the world, along with hundreds of bird species, dolphins, sea turtles, and some of the most productive estuaries on the East Coast. We’re out here because we love it — and we want it to stay that way.

Every tour we run follows strict wildlife-friendly practices. We maintain safe, respectful distances from all marine life and never approach, feed, or interfere with animals in their natural habitat. Our captains operate at no-wake speeds in sensitive areas to protect seagrass beds and minimize disturbance to wildlife. We leave every waterway exactly as we found it — no anchoring in seagrass, no trash, no wake where it isn’t warranted.

We also believe education is part of conservation. Our guides share what they know about the local ecosystem on every trip, because the more people understand and appreciate these waters, the better chance they have of being protected for generations to come.
